I need to either create a theme for the kind of picnic pack I will be producing, think of an event which the picnic could be produced for or theme the picnic around the type of food it contains.
Ideas:
Christmas - Its coming up to christmas so I could create a picnic filled with foods you would associated with it: mince pies, mulled wine etc however might not be the best idea as not many people would go for a picnic at this time of year.
Valentines Day - I could use the suggested idea of a romantic date and create a picnic pack for couples at valentines.
Festival - This idea came from one of my briefs found over summer to create the ultimate festival pack, however I could turn this into the ultimate festival picnic supply. However not sure it would be appropriate for M&S as they have a more sophisticated audience which more than likely aren't festival goers.
A range - I could propose a whole range of picnics for different people such as a couples picnic, a family picnic, a group of friends.
Birthday Picnic - Could create it for typical ages 18th, 21st, etc. Children's birthday party. Buffet type foods. Include party hats and games.
Children's Picnic - Teddy bear's picnic. Could be themed around a children's story or nursery rhyme. But again would this be suitable for the existing M&S audience.
City themed - London picnic. Paris picnic eg french food, Eifel Tower. Keep it classy and sophisticated.
Summer BBQ - Rather than typical pre cooked/cold picnic food it could include a disposable BBQ and you can cook your food at the picnic. Could tie this in with a camping theme.
Beach Picnic -
